We welcome you to FEA, where we are overcoming through the power of the Word. May God bless you richly today.
Recently, the Convention of States Action and The Trafalgar Group released the results of a new survey, which centered on how likely United States voters felt about the influence of Easter and Passover on our nation. The survey, published in the Christian Post, concluded that more than two-thirds of likely voters in the United States, believe that the moral lessons of Easter and Passover are important to “ensuring a strong America for future generations.” As we all know, Easter Sunday is the annual Christian celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus, while Passover is an annual Jewish observance celebrating the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt.
Data for the report came from the survey which was conducted April 5-8, with a sample space of 1,079 persons, with a margin of error of 2.99% at the 95% confidence level. According to the survey, 72.6% of respondents said they believe the “moral lessons found in Easter and Passover” are either “somewhat important” or “very important” to guaranteeing a strong United States of America in the future. In total, 52.6% of respondents said the moral lessons were “very important,” while 20% said they were “somewhat important.” Another 11% said that they were “not very important” and 16.4% said that they were “not important at all.”
Mark Meckler, president of the Convention of States Action, said in an emailed press release that he believed the findings proved that, contrary to popular belief, Americans do not “place less and less value on faith.” “Parents want our children to be taught to know and respect God, value freedom, observe the golden rule, and to achieve a good and great society through hard work and sacrifice. And these are some of the fundamental values taught to us through the Judeo-Christian heritage, stated Meckler.
We thank God for the sensitivity in our nation regarding the moral lessons of this very important time of the year to ensure a strong America. Let us pray that this sensitivity will lead our people to seek the reality of the born-again experience in order to really ensure a strong America as God intends. Our only hope as a nation, lies in Jesus Christ.
The death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, paid for our sins and the sins of the whole world. And the resurrection of Jesus from the dead guarantees everlasting life for all who believe. If we refuse to accept the historical fact of Christ’s resurrection, we will remain stuck in unbelief and in our sins. Without faith, we cannot be forgiven and born again. Consequently, we will be locked out of Heaven forever and ever. May God help the people of our nation to grasp this fact. Amen!
HAPPY RESURECTION DAY!
