“I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord.” We are glad that you are here?
A Pakistani descendant of Muhammad, who was brought back from death’s door by the power of Jesus Christ, has released a new book detailing the ordeal. It all started when Ali Sayed Husnain was sent on a trip to Oxford, England, in 2007, at the age of 15 to visit his sick elderly aunt who had converted to Christianity. Ali decided to attend church with her one day so he could learn more about why she had abandoned the Muslim faith. During the service, the pastor invited those who wanted to see Jesus to come forward. Although Ali was a Muslim, he felt compelled to walk to the front of the church. He wanted to see this Jesus in the hope of understanding what his aunt saw in Him. While the pastor prayed for him, he saw a light and heard the voice of Jesus calling out to him, “My son, you wanted to see me. I’m here. Obey me. I will forgive your sins and give you eternal life.” That night, Ali went back to his aunt’s house and sleep came quickly. As he slept Jesus appeared to him in a dream. “Don’t be afraid,” He said “I will protect you.”
Upon his return to Pakistan, Ali sought to keep his belief in Jesus Christ hidden from his family and friends, but It was not long before he told his classmates that the right way to seek forgiveness was to pray to Jesus. One day after leaving school, Ali was viciously attacked by some of his schoolmates. He was kicked to the ground and his legs and feet were pinned down. After the ordeal, an older man with a beard and turban approached him and said “Islam gives me the right to kill any infidel who speaks against our beloved prophet.” The man stabbed Ali in the chest and he became unconscious. But Jesus appeared to him and said. “You were injured because you were defending me. I will not let you die … I will protect you.”
A security guard found him and took him to the hospital. The doctor gave him only 20 minutes to live. When it appeared that he was going to recover, the doctor told him that he couldn’t explain what happened to the pool of blood which he was unable to drain from his stomach and his lungs. Ali knew that Jesus had kept his promise of protection. God is not slack concerning His promises.
