Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! May your hearts be blessed as you worship with us today.
The Word of God is Spreading! Hallelujah! “The National Bible Bee Game Show” competition was launched live on Facebook a few weeks ago. This is a first of its kind. The competition is being broadcast on the social-media network weekly on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The broadcast tests students’ Bible knowledge and their ability to memorize the scriptures. The show is a combination of education and entertainment; it covers three classes of competition and offers hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes. The shows are hosted by actor Kirk Cameron, Zwayne, Hanna Leary and the Benham brothers, David and Jason.
In an interview with WND after the show’s launch, Jason Benham said there was “vitriol from hell” aimed at the kids who were participating. Criticism was cruel and bitter. The kids were made fun of, poked at and called names. But from the Christian community, there was “overwhelmingly great support.”
The show is the culmination of the National Bible Bee program, which already has involved thousands of children memorizing sometimes nearly 1,000 verses from the Bible. The verses teach the ability to understand and know wisdom. David pointed out that early American education centered around the Bible. The “New England Primer” used Bible references to teach the alphabet: “A is for Adam.”
“The goal really is to encourage young people in their efforts to understand God’s Word and to inspire them to internalize it, and then to impact their lives,” David added. The broadcast is on Facebook Live, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesdays.
Let us pray for the success of this Godly show. Let us also pray for the children who will be involved, that God would give them boldness. Pray that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Amen!

Biblical Directions for Life and Work “Dealing with Difficult People”
By Dr. Gloria “Jo” Floyd
To deal biblically and positively with difficult people, conflict and situations try these approaches:
•Communication: Communicate assertively not aggressively nor passive aggressively. Watch your words, behaviors and gestures. (Matthew 5:9; Ecclesiastes 7:19)
•Team Player: Be a team player at home and at work. Try to look for ways to make things better for everyone involved. Don’t think selfishly. (Psalm 133:1)
•Assessment: Ascertain what the real difficulty is. Are you the culprit? Is your ego in the way? Are you EGO-Easing God Out?
•Judge Not: Try not to be judgmental. We all have faults. All are faults. (Matthew 7:1-2)
•Adversity at Home: Realize that dealing with people often brings adversity and conflict. (Matthew 10:34-39) At home or work we are supposed to fix our eyes on God and love him more than anything in our world.
•Persecutions: Realize that we were not promised everything with ease. We have been warned that we should beware of men. We should be reminded as in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
•Disputes: We may have disputes with other but we should handle them well. Even when we are treated badly/wrongly by others we should turn the other cheek. (Matthew 5:39-45)
•Love Everybody In Spite of Their Behavior: Try to remember that most people do not get up each day looking to make us miserable even though it may seem that way. People do hurt us. People are sometimes hard to deal with and hard to love. We can be the same way. (Matthew 39)
•Don’t Get Even – Get God! Get Peace!: Let God work out all your problems with people. You don’t need to worry about anything. God is in control. Nothing will happen to you except what he allows. (Philippians 4:6-7)
•Don’t Let Anything Mar Your Godly Walk in Life: When you have a problem dealing with another don’t go off the limb. Pray. Fast. Be Still. Be Quiet. Rest in your assurance that God will take care. (Matthew 7:7)
•The Golden Rule Still Applies: Sometime we want to be treated great but we fail to step into the shoes of the other person. If you want real blessings in dealing with others listen to the person, ask for clarification, don’t be defensive, ask and remember as in the golden rule. (Matthew 7:12)
•Let Your Word Be Real: Don’t lie, lose integrity, steal or cheat if you want to have good relationships with people. Forgive those who wrong you. Smile don’t frown. Say please, yes and thank you. You must be a correct user of words, not a gossiper or back stabber… and Love a lot and you will get along well with other people. (Matthew 5:3-12)
